Probably the best day of the year so far. After a frosty start to the day the sun came up and the hardy NMAC members started to arrive at the field in their “droves”.
After the normal pre-flight briefings (Tea and Coffee) the electric fence was removed the windsock placed and the flying began. The flightline was busy with a good mixture of old and new planes, test flights and training flights. By early afternoon the car park was starting to double stack, JC counted 22 cars at one point. Mick Call with a new Acrowot test flown by DK, test flights for prospected new members, a brace of gliders and at one point 9 aircraft in the air at the same time. The flight line pit was busy even the landing strip had a queue to take off at times.
